Who we are
Zyntho is a business automation platform operated from the United Kingdom. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions go to hello@zyntho.co.uk.
What Zyntho does
Zyntho lets a business connect the services it already uses, such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, and build automations that move information between them. You decide which services to connect, what each connection may access, which automations run, and when they run.
Information we hold about your account
- Your name, email address and sign-in details, including any multi-factor authentication settings.
- Your organisation, the people you invite to it and their roles.
- The automations you build and their configuration.
- A history of what your automations did, so you can see what happened and when.
- Billing records once you subscribe.
Information in the services you connect
When you connect a service, you authorise Zyntho to access it on your behalf within the permissions you grant. Zyntho uses that access only to run the automations you have configured and to show you what they did. Information from a connected service passes through an automation while it runs; Zyntho does not copy your business data into its own systems except for the run history described above, which you can shorten or delete, and except for documents you choose to add to your Zyntho knowledge vault.
You can see what each connection can access, disconnect a service at any time from within Zyntho, and revoke Zyntho's access from the service provider directly. For Google, that is your Google Account permissions page.
Google user data
Zyntho's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
In practice: Zyntho only accesses the Google data needed for the automations you configure (for example reading a spreadsheet you chose, or sending an email you asked it to send); it does not use Google user data for advertising; it does not sell it; and it does not let people read it except with your permission, for security purposes, or where the law requires.
Artificial intelligence
Automations that use artificial intelligence run on the AI provider account you connect, under that provider's terms. Zyntho's own assistant, which helps you understand and build automations, is operated by Zyntho and works from information Zyntho provides to it and from the information you have chosen to share with it.
Security
Sign-in credentials and access tokens for connected services are encrypted at rest with keys held separately from the data. Access to customer accounts by Zyntho staff is limited, time-bound and recorded in your organisation's activity log.
Who else processes your information
Zyntho uses service providers to host the platform and database in the United Kingdom, to send transactional email, to process payments and to provide AI capability for Zyntho's own assistant. They process information only on Zyntho's instructions.
How long we keep it
Account information is kept while your account exists. Run history is kept for the period set by your plan, which you can shorten. When you close your account you can export your automations first; we then delete your data within 30 days except where the law requires us to keep it longer.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to hello@zyntho.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Changes
We will post any changes here and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your information we will tell account holders directly.
